Creating New Molding profiles

Post by Joe Dusel »

How do you at Thermwood create the molding profiles that we use in the Molding Editor? Are these STL files or X_T files? Is there a way for us to create our own profiles and add them to a directory that we can access from the Molding Editor?

Thanks!

joe,

you use the shape manager to create the profhile you want and then save it as a tool...

Check the \"customer tools\" forum for examples

Thanks. I know how to generate tools and I know how to use the Part Editor. So, how do you use the tool you have generated to make molding that you can apply with the Molding Editor?

Joe,

So far, the feature you are asking for has not been implemented. There was a discussion here on the forum awhile back, but I'm not sure the eCabs devs are considering it yet.
