Hardware Hole Associations Disappear !

Post by Vince Lisanti »

Thermwood Team,

I have been having this issue for quite some time now ,and I have discussed it via telephone on a few occasions with no solution.

The problem is that when I place cabinets into a job they are losing the hardware hole associations.

In the cabinet editor the hardware hole associations show up properly in define defaults, but as soon as I bring them into a job and than back to the cab editor for review or changes they are gone.

This is a problem because I send my files to Northwoods for machining, and only random parts are getting hardware holes machined causing me much added time in assembly.

Help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Vince,

I had something similar to this once where my hardware patterns were replacing my customers patterns. When they sent me the file and I would open and look at a cab default, it would replace there hole pattern with mine. Same hardware different patterns. I don't know why and could never repeat when tried. This has not happened recently but I don't tempt it anyway. One thing to try is don't click OK when leaving the default page and don't have any fronts highlighted. I hope this helps as it is random.
