base molding

Post by Joseph Swift »

I'm trying to add a base molding to a base cabinet and having some trouble. Each time I select add base molding it places it at the top of the cabinet. I'm working on an assembly currently but have the same trouble with a cabinet. I'm sure it is something stupid that I am doing.

Thanks.

Joseph,
There are numerical entry boxes to the left of your screen in the molding editor that let you position the moldings. Enter that you want the base molding to be placed 0\" from the bottom.

When you select the molding you want to use, before you add base molding make sure you enter in 0\" in the box that says distance to bottom. This will set the molding at the bottom of the cabinet. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 1-800-533-6907 ext. 227

Thank You

Actually I enter -.75 as the distance to the bottom for undercabinet molding that will attach to the bottom of the cabinet.

Right, I actually ended up entering -1 as this cab will mount on casters.
