Still in part editor
When trying to make contour cuts in the part editor it seems that I can only make cuts created with the circle tool. If I try to use an arc or line I get the message \"contour selected seems not to be a closed contour\". I've done everything I can think of to make sure the thing is closed but I always get the message. Any tips?
When you see this error \"contour selected seems not to be a closed contour\". This tells me that your contour is not not closed, or there is a gap between the end points of the arcs. Probably on both sides.
Use the trim function located within the contour mode. Select \"two entities\". Then, select the end of one of arcs, then select the corresponding end of the other arc. This should trim the line so that they have the same endpoint. Repeat this proccess for the other intersection.
Now you should be able to cut pocket using a closed contour.
