Inset Door /Face Frame Bug

Post by David Hall »

Start with the standard base frameless cabinet.
Go to CS and turn on face frames, accepting defaults.
Go to FF editor, select left and right stiles and bottom rail and press delete.
Go to Door/Drawer editor, select opening, and click place double door.
Change door inset to .75, press tab
Change top gap to .125
Change left, right and bottom gaps to -.75 (note minus sign)
Click OK.

Zoom in , note gap between top of doors and top rail looks ok.
Return to main.
Note gap between top of doors and top rail is gone and doors have grown in height to merge with top rail.
Go to CS, click OK. Note doors grow more each time you click OK in CS.

Dave

David,

I had this happening on some oddball cabs and found that going back to the main editor before adding the doors has helped the problem.

Hope this helps,
Forrest
