Need some Help PLEASE!

Post by Thom Davies »

Hey Hows it all going?

I got a nice 1 here.

Its a panel thats 170mm square and 18mm thick. It has holes in it and thats not the problem. What i cant figure out is how to do the curve thats on the face. it goes down to 10mm in the middle of the board.

Can i run it with just the curve in it then nest the same size panel with the holes in it?

Thanks

Thom Davies

Thom, try this, create a tool with the radius of the face of the part, make the part, cut the holes then draw a line down the center top of the part to set the tool path, then select your new tool. I did a rough test and it works

Kinda sounds like a job profile modeler could do.
