No hardware holes or Dado on Right Side

Post by Chris Robinson »

Hi,

I processed a job that dropped all hardware holes and dado for the back on the right side panels only. All parts were sized correctly and the backs are the correct size.

If you take the cabinets into the part editor and look at the right sides, the hardware holes and dado are present.

The were no errors at twd creation or at the cnc control.

This job was processed after I reloaded the OS and eCabs onto the workstation.

It's a real PITA to manually groove and locate hardware.

Why is it that when problems show up where holes or features are dropped from a cabinet, it is usually with the right gables? 99% of all the problems I run into and can't explain end up being with the right gables.

Chris

Can you attach the entire job? Did you create this job? Did you change material thickness during CNC?

Thanks
Walker

Walker,

Details:
-I created the job myself.
-I did not change material thickness at twd creation.
-I insured the job name was less than 15 characters long.
-I insured the job name didn't have any spaces or odd characters.
-I insured the job was saved in a file on main root directory of c:\\.
-I insured all part editor cuts were governed by the constraint manager.
-I held my tongue in my left cheek while creating the twd file.

I did attempt to attach the entire file but apparently it exceeds the allowable size. If you'd like to pm me, I'll attach the file and send it to you.

Thanks,
Chris
