changing cabinet colors in the room

Post by Bob l Spano »

It would be so nice if you can change the colors of the cabinets in a room all at once & not individually. That is so painfully tasking! Also, I wish you can change the door colors while your making your cabinets. I use two tone cabinets alot. Mostly maple doors & walnut cabinets or mahogany.
HAving speaker grills on a door would be cool too. Just not a glass door & no glass. I like to show the speaker grill.

Changing the \"color\" of the sheet goods used in a job is not that hard, just create sheet goods of the \"color\" you wish, then go to the Detail Room editor. First select all the cabinets you wish to change. Then select Change Materials and then Sheet Stock and use the dialog box to make your changes. Changing the doors and drawer fronts is also fairly easy. If you use faceframes you need to have the box checked to finish the faceframes same as the doors.

I do grill cloths with framed doors and display panels.

You can also change the image on the material your using and update. This is quick and easy.
