Changing mid rail

Post by Jean G Voyer »

On the hopefully attached cabinet I have been able to change the top & bottom rail, left & right stile from Hickory to Alder. But the mid rails won't change. Is that a bug or am I doing something wrong?

1. go the Face frame editor
2. select mid rail and stile
3. go to face frame construction settings, change the mid rail/stile material
4. hit ok

Rick,
The only way I can make changes to mid stiles/rails, is to first deleat, than change constuction size, than add new stiles/rails.
If I want to change stiles/rails from 1.5\" to 2\" and hit \"all\", the outside stiles/rails change but the mid stiles/rails remain at 1.5\". Am I missing something, or is this how it works?
Keep up the GREAT work! David Werkheiser

For settings to be changed on mid stiles and rails, you have to select them in the face frame editor (they highlight green). Hold down the control key to select multiple stiles/rails. Then go to construction settings and change the face frame width. This method also works with shelves and partitions in the shelf editor, doors/drawers in the door/drawer editor, and drawer boxes in the drawer box editor.
