Can't see board stock
I have been upgrading my eCab as releases come out ,and there have been some changes made relating to board stock and using board feet. I haven't built anything with eCab since this was done, and when I now go to create a display board and look for the board stock to choose in the drop down panel there is nothing there. Was I supposed to completely re-do my board stock inventory in some new way?
Thanks.
Thanks.

If you click the down arrow on the dropdown box, do you see your materials? Is there anything displayed in the Filter List by Thickness box?
After the last release, I added a \"Cherry\" material, and as I edit my cabinets I switch all my face frames to it instead of \"Cherry 1 3/4 X 3/4\"(or whatever). But editing the materials wasn't necessary.

Wow Peter,
This is a weird one indead.
Have you try adding any material to the data base at all?
I would, before hand, change my backup directory as a temp file and do a recovery to the original backup. You can always switch back. Just to be safe.
Just curious, you did a reboot already I presume...

If you look at your material definitions in Settings/Preferences, does it show 3/4\" as being 0 3/4\", 0.75\" or 0.750\"?
I have my Dimension Display set to inches and fractions. I also don't see any board stock when creating a display board unless I choose \"All.\"
Even after changing Dimension Display to inches and decimals I still saw stock listed when I chose \"All.\"
Looks like a bug, walks like a bug, must be a bug.

Dan,
My list shows the thicknesses in decimal format.
Michael,
I have not yet tried to add anything since I wanted to find out what I had missed in the upgrades before doing so, and yes, I did re-boot.
An additional note: I was building an assembly entirely from display parts and no cabinet was being used.
thanks,

Is this still the best way to report bugs? I seem to remember Dennis recommending to use this form. But that was wayyyy back in May of this year...
Or maybe there is a better way? -------------- Al
