Constraint Manager Question - New User

Post by Philip Lengden »

Hi there - I have a question about the CM. The user manual for the software states that...

\"One important limitation for parts modified in the Part Editor is that the size of the part cannot be changed after it has been modified. This means that you cannot perform any operation on the cabinet that would result in the size of the modified part changing without abandoning the modifications made in the Part Editor\"

But it seems that the constraint manager corrects this limitation. Is this just a legacy issue with the manual? Or am I missing something? Thanks for any feedback.

That limitation no longer exists with the part editor Philip, the docs just need to be updated. Modified parts will stay that way, even if you don't use the CM.

Thanks for the info. That's what I figured but just wanted some clarification. They should fix that ASAP since its a simple change, and well worth removing the confusion.
