Line drawings

Post by Lee Gernandt »

When I take a cabinet into line drawing editor, it looks fine, but when I print it out, it shows the shelves behind the doors and raised panel doors, even though they are flat panel doors everywhere else.Is there a setting I need to adjust? If so, any tips to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try changing your line enhancement to maybe 0 so the shelves wont show, as far as the flat panel doors showing as a raised panel never seen that before. Mark.

I got the same thing. Only some of the shelves showed up behind shaker style doors.

That's what I'm getting. Some shelves show, some don't, and all the panels are raised.

If you are using a door with a Reverse G-Cove panel it might be the back cut lines that are showing up making it look like a front raised panel.

Glad to help, Anouther trick Ive learned is that if you need to keep that line enhancement at a positive number to enhance your cabinets exterior details you can go up to the top left corner in your LDE and click on prt then highlight the doors rt click and say hide then highlight the individual shelves that you dont want to see. then rt click again and say show hidden items , now your doors are back and the shelves behind are still highlighted (you cant see that but they are) now rt click and say hide and your shelves are hidden. Comes in handy every once in a while. Mark.
