What does this do?

Post by Leo Graywacz »

I was wondering if it was possible to make measurements while you are in the cabinet editor. If I click on the tape measure icon it shows a bunch of different measurement reference boxes. I figured it would work on the nodes, but it doesn't, or I don't know how to use it. I have looked in the help and can't find a reference to it. Here is the icon.

Hey Leo,

When in the cabinet editor - first double click on the cabinet to select it (green outline) then click on the measuring tool. When you hover over a node you will get a blue dot...click once on the node where you want to measure from, then drag the mouse to measure the distance between that node and the next (don't click on the second node or you will start measuring over from that node).

Hope that helps
