Face frame and memory
Does face frame cabinets use substantially more memory then frame less cabinets in cabinet editor and custom layout?

Re: Face frame and memory
Jean,
If you look at the file size in the following directory you can see the difference.
C:\Program Files\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\cabinets\Standard Cabinets
I have removed the Doors and the shelf from the framed cabinet to get the numbers below.
Standard Base Frameless (file size) = 179kb
Standard Base Framed (file size) = 279kb (Without doors and shelf)
I think the files size would get bigger if you added addition FF construction (puzzle joint FF, Blind or full dadoing it to the cabinet, or adding Stiles and rails)

Re: Face frame and memory
Thanks Todd.
That answer my question very well and it tells me why I have been having so much problems with rendering a particular job I am working on.

Re: Face frame and memory
I have a feeling the problem may be something else. Face frames do not normally slow down the rendering of eCabinet Systems software. I have no experience using the puzzle joints.
