DRAWER BOX ERROR

Post by jerry johnson »

After installing the 5.2 update I now have an error in the drawer box editor. When I add a drawer box the first message reads; "Failed in generating CNC data." I hit OK and this message pops up; "There was an unexpected error while handeling CNC data operation in Drawer Box edditor. Reverting to previous body." The drawer box is then added but it looks like the attachment. Is anyone else having this problem??

The dado settings you are using on that drawer box are causing the problem. You will have to recreate your drawer box using the STD drawer box not any of the STD dovetail drawer boxes. I’ve got this listed for the programmers, sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey Walter,
Speaking of drawer box. When I place a drawer base cabinet and I have to resize, the drawer box does not resize with it. Is there something that I can do, or is there something that I am not doing?
Thanks!

Are you using the drawer box that you get the error from? Do you have minimum increment set for the drawer box that is not resizing correctly? Could you attach the cabinet with the drawer box before you resized it?

Rick,
I appreciated. I am not sure what I did there for a few minutes.
Thank you!

That was happening to me as well. I would delete the drawer in the Door Drawer Editor the re choose the default drawer box and it works fine.

That's weird, cause I just adjusted the width of the cab and it followed along like it should.
