Problems with Drawers in 5.2

Post by Denis L'Heureux »

This unit worked fine in 5.1 but now, when I try to change drawers, it gives me a steady increment in the size of the drawer front depending on which one I insert first, second and last. It increases in size in that order. I even tried starting with the middle one and still the same thing.

Can someone make head or tail of this? Could be a bug I guess and will need to be addressed.

Thanks

The drawer boxes and fronts work ok in there own editor, it's when you take it to main that it all flies apart. :(

So I guess it is not just me. Good in a way, I feel better LOL but it looks like it is a bug now.

I have tried re-starting this one over and over. Every time, the drawer act this way. Maybe the wizards can find a fix or work around for this.

Can you use a standard cab instead of a corner?

I’ve got this listed for the programmers. If you remove the FF and uncheck “left and right sides miter” from the corner settings then reapply your FF the drawers should work.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

No Rick I can not use something else in that position.

Thanks Walker, I will try that when I get home tonight and post my findings.

Cheers

Well, that fixed the drawer issue but screwed up the back as you can see in the attached image. The left side is now 1/4" wider the the right side. Nothing I seem to be able to do to fix that either.

Denis

Are you saying that you can not remove the ¼ back inset for the left end in construction settings?

Yes Walker....that is what is happening. The inset just popped after the drawers were fixed but in my settings, I can not find anywhere a inset for that sides, back or deck. Not sure where else to look.

This is another bug related to “left and right sides mitre” I believe. See if unchecking that helps.

this maybe a old bug but just had it happen I resized a base cabinet and went from 48" to 52" and all went well.
But when I move the Mid Stile the Drawer boxes resized to fit the cabinet but the doors and the drawer did not
resizes.
