Gary and gregory

You can get these files in a stl format then you can load them in the display part editor then save it as a hsf file and open it in the cabinet editor. You can also draw a tool in the shape manager to get the profile you want. Once this is done and has been saved you can create a tool from this shape. Then you will apply this tool to geometry in the part editor under the profile edge icon to achieve the molding you desire.

Gary,

The Enkebol moldings etc. are downloaded in .dwg format which is native to Auto Cad. You must download the file, then open it in some application that is compatible with Auto Cad. I use Intellicad. TurboCad is another. I think in TurboCad you can open the .dwg file and use TurboCad to save or export the file in the Stereo Lithography .stl format that eCabinets can open. In Intellicad I have to open the .dwg file then save it as a .dxf (Drawing Exchange File) format then use another program, Accutrans 3D to open the .dxf flies and convert it to .stl. You then open the .stl file in the eCabinets Display Parts Editor and make any changes you want and then save it in eCabinets which converts the .stl file to .hsf (Hoops Streaming File) format that you can use in the cabinet editor or Custom Layout.
For carved moldings you must save a section of the molding and then add sections together to get the length you want. You can scale the molding but it will distort the carving pattern.
Corbels and onlays, etc. can be used as they are after converting them.

All of the files I ever tried from White River were only 2D drawings and were useless in eCabinets.
I haven't looked in a while to see if they offer 3D for anything but 20/20 Software.

Gary,
If there is a certain profile or corbel etc. that you are needing, I would be glad to convert it for you while you are learning the process.

At one time Osborne Wood Products offered their entire line already in .stl format. You might look at their stuff also.

Gary,
You can get turbo cad in many web sites. Just put a search on Google and you should be able to get a large list. Many of them are free-trial for 30-days.
If you are just trying to export files from a web site into e-cabs, just go to http://www.alibre.com and download their free software. That's what I have for my use.
But you will have go thru the steps that Kerry was talking about in this discussion.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
