Dwg files

Post by Gary Puckett »

Would it be possible for e Cabinets to somehow put in the software a way to convert the DWG FIles to STL/HSF.
I think that would solve a lot of problems everyone is having with changing files over so we can use them in eCabinets.

I also think that waiting for Enkeboll to offer STL files just is not going to happen, I think they have 3-4 of the cnc routers and they are being very protective of there product.

Hi Gary, there are conversion utilities that are available. A popular one is Accutrans. There might even be some members out there that will convert them for you. HTH

Hi Rick

I am very new to the program, but what I been reading a lot of people are having this problem.

I think I heard Kerry say that you had to take it to intellicad do some converting then take it to accutrans to convert it again to STL

Well I looked for intellicad ( a free download ) and not sure which on to try , did not even try to look for accutrans.

Right now just confused.

Yes, sorry Gary, that is correct. The DWG files need to be converted into DXF files first.
