ODD SIZE CORNER CABINET

Post by Al dedenus »

Is there any way to make a 90 degree back corner cabinet have left end 900m wide and right end 600mm wide but both backs 1600mm wide? Everytime I change the width of the end the programme shortens one of the backs

Al,

Try the cabinet below.
Your back width is the sum of your end depth plus the front width so left end is 900mm deep plus 700mm front width. Your right end is 600mm deep plus 1000mm front width. Both backs will be 1600mm.

Hi Al,
Try changing the depth before the width. This is how I have always done it so should work for you :)

yup after hours on the same cabinet I finally got it to work.Wonder if it would be easier to call in to see one of you guys next time.I could fly over to Kerry quicker than it took to figure it out.Wish I"d worked it out in the time it would have taken me to get to Paul !!

Wow! Obviously not winter in Texas then!
What is 103 in celsius? I wish it was that warm here this morning, -1 again at the moment... Rather fresh :)

Al,

It was great today, a "cold front" went through last night and it was only 85 F. Of course next December we will be at the temperature you are now.

It must be tough! But enough of this, time to pick your brains again.Back to that corner unit.Is there a way to put 2 sets of double doors on?this cabinet is going to be a big pantry with 2 sets of bi-fold doors.Tried puting a partition in and then double doors each side but couldn't see a partition setting.Tried inseting a pair of double doors to the left half of the unit and then cut and paste to the other side but that wont work. Will I have to manually insert them in the main cab editor??

Yup that will do the trick.Only thing is I can't download it to see how you did it.clicked download>save>ecabs>base units>named it but doesn't appear to be there.keeps saying "feature I.D. not registered" So what am I doing wrong.Bad enough that you guys get all the warm weather let alone me not knowing how to download a file. :wall:
