PART EDITOR HAS A MIND OF IT'S OWN

Post by Al dedenus »

I have a breakfront cabinet with a marble top,so created the top as a display cube, picked a marble image, and sent it to the part editor to cut.Problem is when I returned to the cab editor the marble image was striped.Made the attempt 3 times before it returned how it should.I've come across this a few times before.Anyone else having this problem??

Al,

Post your cube.
I tried making cuts on a cube with a marble texture and all is well.
You can also highlight your cube then use File/Export to export the cube to the Display Part Editor where you can re-apply and adjust the marble image then save the top as a display object.
That might fix it.

I had this problem in the past - I'm pretty sure I just gave up and moved on.
