Is there a way to constrain an object to the center of a panel?
I was designing some dowel construction cabinets and it seems I can only constrain these
to the edges of a panel. It would be nice to be able to have other constraint options such as
center of the panel and even the ability to constrain in portions such as 1/3 cabinet height etc
for fixed shelves etc.
Is this something that will be considered in the future?
an option for dowel construction would be great as well.
Thanks

Re: Constraint manager
Gary,
I may not understand your request, but you can do this now. Put your dimension on you node, then edit the dimension but instead of 2" or whatever, put in there w/2. This will give you 1/2 panel dimension. You could also do some other math such as h/2+3 if you needed a hole half way up a side panel but wanted to account for a 3" kick (or would that be -3"?).

Thanks for the help Fred, That is just what I was looking for.
I will give it a try.
