Glass panel display

Post by Marvin Pate »

Is there a glass panel image that I can use as an image in sheet stock? There are times when I want to build a cabinet and have a glass panel on the side of the cabinet. Thank you.

Marvin,
Do a search for glass panels and the directions are there for making one. I have only done it once and can't remember the steps. It works great.

Marvin,
Try this. Go to the cabinet editor, Load a display panel the thickness you want, ( I used 1/4" birch ). Click on the panel when it loads and go to file export. Make a directory that you can find. Name the panel. Then go to the Display Part Editor, click on load STL/HSf, click on the panel you just created. Click on the box Transmission On. Click on Gouraud, Click on the box No Mapping. Now go to the color boxes and insert the numbers 200,200,200. You can play with these numbers to create the color of glass you want. Save the glass in your display parts. Now when you need glass you pull it up from your display objects, click on it and scale it to the size you need.
I hope this works for you
Grady
