Reinstall

Post by Douglas Walters »

I reformatted the hard drive, turned off my antivires and tried to install eCabinets and get the following error,
1305.Error reading from C:\Program Files\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\hoops1106.dll. Verify that the files exists and that you can acces it. I have a M70, cleaned the disk(Version 5), tried to reinstall with the same error.
Thanks for helping with the reinstall.

After installing from the disc, you need to install the latest patch.

Hi Rick,
The error comes up before it finishes the install from the disk. I can't even think about updating yet.
Thanks,

Douglas, try updating or reinstalling the drivers for your CD-ROM or DVD drive.

Thanks Rick,
Updated the firmware, uninstalled AVG, rebooted, tried to reinstall ecab, 80% done and a different error 1305 comes up.
Errorreading from file C:\Program Files\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\hardware\Wood Components\Hafele\Hf-194-78-335.hsf. Verify that the file exists and that you can acces it. Retry or cancel. Retry comes up with the same error.
The Hafele component should be on the disk.
What should my next step be? :wall:
I retried and it is the same as above except says .jpg.
Where would I verify this exists?

Try uninstalling eCabinets before starting the reinstall.

Are you running Vista? If so, make sure you are following the Vista installation instructions in the sticky at the top of the forum.

Hi Dan,
eCab has not been installed on this after the reformat. I am running XP and have checked the add/remove programs and there is nothing to remove.

Doug
Try to download the latest update first from the internet. I know that you do not have the software installed yet but I am thinking since it is a version 5 disk, if you download the update frist and run it then try to install the cd. If this does not work you can email me, call, or post back on here.
