Help with lights

Post by Gary Puckett »

OK I have never had any problems with the system, now all of a suden I lost part of a job I drew and already showed the client.
Luckly I had a copy of the job, but when I go to add lights they show up when I place them over head but delete when I go to change the view.

Any Ideas on what the problem is?

Thanks Gary

Gary after you have placed the light fixtures highlight them and associate them to your walls. This should do the trick :D

Thanks guys,

Found the problem. I had prepared this job about 4-5 weeks ago and when I pulled it up I forgot I had already placed lights in the room and then hidd the lights. So the lights were on hide and every time I would add a light it would hide

You're not the first person to hide something and lose it Gary. Heck, I lose stuff all the time...tools, parts, whatever I need most at the moment always seems to be lost. :joker:

Talk about loosing things, I went to unhook the trailer from the truck when I got home today only to find that the lock is missing from the tongue and no keys in the door of the truck where I keep them. I call the employee that hooked up the trailer this morning only to hear him say, "I don't know, I think I gave them to you". That's fine and well but where is the Lock? :wall:

Been there, done that. I have several copies of small, rarely used hand tools. It seems like every time I need one of them, it is missing so I buy another. After I use it and go to put it up, there are all of the missing ones right where they should be. :wall: :joker: Case in point: I recently had to replace all of the stepper motors in my Yukon's instrument panel and couldn't find my soldering iron so I bought another. Later when cleaning out the garage I found seven soldering irons including one that had never been opened and was still ib the bag from the store!!!

Thank goodness that only happens (so far at least) to the cheap tools. One of these days I'm going to catch the "stuff-gobbler" that lives in my garage...bad thing is, it will probably look astonishingly like ME!!!

Sorry about hijacking your thread Gary...I seem to have forgotten what your question was about. :joker:
