saving to an external hard drive

Post by John Larson »

I am beginning to review my books from attending the training in April and need to know if I can simply save my jobs to an external hard drive. Any suggestions? John

I move a lot of my old files to external drives.

Jobs--yes, cabinets--no. You can save jobs anywhere in the system but cabinets and assemblies have to be in the same location as installed by eCabinets.

I do exactly that - applications stay on my C drive of my system and alll data files stay on 1 of 2 external hard drives - no problem yet.
