Angled cabinets.....( angled top, not front...)

Post by markvan »

I am wondering if I can build a upper kitchen cabinet, with doors, to follow the slope of a cathedral ceiling.

For Example, if I need a 28" wide cabinet, with a 30" tall right end gable, and the left end gable at 20" high. I can specify the left end gable to have a 10" inset on the top, but that would not cause the back, and top of the cabinet to slope from the 30" gable down to the 20" gable. The top and back will still come straight across 90 degrees from the right side gable.

I am guessing that I can't build this as a cabinet....right? I know that this could be shown as a display cube, but would like an actual cabinet if it's possible.

Thanks.

Take a look at this thread. Is this what you are trying to do?

Exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks Dan. I'll give that a try.
