back inset

i need to have a back inset with a cabinet. and i keep getting a message saying i can't be done. can this be done? if so how do you do this. thanks darren

Are you trying to inset the back on an angle?

Darren,
If you want to inset the back, goto construction settings, then the "BACK" tab. Set the "BACK INSET" to whatever you need it to be. If you want to have the part rotated to match the angle on the end panels, you may want to use a stretcher for the back panel. See pic below.

what i was doing was giving the deck a back inset then the back a back inset. that's where i was getting the problem. then i left the deck without an inset and gave the back the proper inset, and everything fell into place. thanks darren
