Gary, you just asked if the wall could be edited, what are you trying to do with the wall?

Damon,

I made a cutout in a wall and I need to edit the hieght. I would show you but I can't get a jpeg.

But what I have to do is edit about a 1/4 " from the height and it is way to complicated to redo thecut out.

Your just going to have to delete the cut out. How can it be that difficult to redo one wall. X=?,Y=? at the lower corner and x=?,Y=? at the top opposite corner and viola, You have a rectangle ready to cut out. Then do another rectangle below that one and cut it. That should be your wall. Maybe a minute or two tops. You have been doing this long enough now that you can do it.

Sorry Gary,

I don't think you can edit the existing cut out by making it smaller. You would have to re do the cut out. Now on the other hand, If the cut out is not large enough, You can edit it by drawing another box or rectangle and removing more material.

Gary,

It sould be best to remove the wall cuttouts and re-do them correctly. You can make a cut larger by cutting more of the wall but you can't make the cut smaller.

Gary, one thing you can do. Go back and draw a smaller box tracing over the existing box if you want it smaller. and then delete the larger one underneath if you need it to be smaller. That way you can follow in your footsteps.

Thanks George,

I can go in and just delete the rectangle that is wrong and replace it with the correct dim.

Use the Add Geometry option, it is the last option. If you want to erase 1/4" of the top just make a rectangle that overlaps the top area by 1/4". Make sure that some part of the new area is outside of the old area or you will not be able to select it by itself. Chose select and then highlight the new rectangle, choose Add Geometry and it will add the new wall area in your open hole.

Fun stuff you can do with add geometry.

One thing I noticed is you cannot make a floating section. If you try, the whole wall disappears and the cutouts remain.
