Shaker Doors

Post by Don Nichelson »

I was drawing up a kitchen and realized that there are no shaker doors/drawers to choose from. Am I overlooking that selection? I usually use the Contestoga doors but did not see shaker.

Don, I believe the Amesbury under Conestoga is a shaker style, take a look at it.

Don,

I noticed the same thing. I was able to take another door and change it into a shaker door. You can't with every door but there are some you can. You can change profiles, panels, and even the inner profile on the rails and stiles. hth.

Use a Conestoga CPR-10, change the panel raise to "reverse G cove", the framing bead to "square", and the edge to "machine edge".
