Curved Walls

Post by Adam DAgosto »

Hello.

How do you create a curved wall?

Actually I have a pony wall that heads south down the page and then turns 90 degrees west but not at 90 degrees (that would be way too easy). It follows a smooth curve like a fillet/round.

I have the dimensions of the total wall lengths, but I now need to round the corner?

Anyone know how?

Thanks,

Adam

The only way to do that (that I know of) is to create the curved portion of the wall from a display cube.

This is an example of a curved wall made with a big display cube (4' w x 12'l x 8' d). After you create the display cube you need to take it to the part editor to cut the curve. If you will only be viewing this wall from one side you only need to cut the arc from the one side. It needs to be a closed shape to cut out the part.
