Need a little help

Post by Gary Puckett »

Hate to ask but I need a little help.

I need to send some line drawings (j peg) and my camara option doesn't work . So I tried to dim.the cabinets and put a text on the parts that are typ so I could print it out scan it then email. The problem is the text only works when it wants too.

Does anyone know what I can do?

It sure would be nice if you could make the file a DXF file.

Thanks

Gary,

From the line drawing editor print your documents to a .pdf file and email the .pdf.
Or you can use the Print Screen key and paste the screen into Irfanview, crop it and save as a jpeg.

If you have a lot of line drawings the Note funcion in the LDE can have a delay on it. You just have to wait for it to catch up.

Gary,

Make sure you have selected a font and that your font color is not set to white or yellow.

I have found the note function to be a little touchy. Sometimes it takes a couple clicks to get it to work.

I've loaded Primo PDF (free online)once you have loaded it press print from the LDE page that you want and select primo pdf from the drop down of printer options >select a name and location>press print>create PDF.open your email >insert file attachment>select your PDF from where you saved it .Works a treat for me.Kerry put me onto Primo
