'Ramped' Pockets?

Post by Nat Wheatley »

Is there a way to create a pocket with a 'ramped' bottom? I'd like to create slots for pocket screws on several of my parts. The bottom of the slot would be about 3/8" deep at one end, and ramp up to the surface of the material at the other end.

Something that should be mentioned here Nat. Dans, method here would result in Profile Modeler operations. The ShopBot Link does not support Profile Modeler. There is not a way to create ramped pockets that will cut with the ShopBot Link.

Dan,

Thanks very much for taking the time to post. Sorry not to have mentioned that I was using the SB Link, I didn't realize that it would factor in.
