Angled Upper: Remove Back Clip?

Post by Nat Wheatley »

Wasn't able to figure out how (if possible?) to remove the 45 degree clip on the back of this corner cabinet. Is there a way to do it

Nat,

Open the cabinet in the Cabinet Editor
Go to Construction Settings/Corner Settings Tab
Enter 0 in the Corner Gap box

Very easy, thanks very much for the help.

I'm setting my right and left depth at 304mm, but the actual size of the sides ends up at 324. I had thought that the right and left depth of the cabinet woyuld match the width of the right and left sides?

Nat,

eCabinets automatically adds enough material to the sides to cut a miter (great for face frame not so great for frameless).

Add a front inset the thickness of your material (19mm) to the left and right sides and to the top and deck.

This should get you the cabinet you were looking for.

Thanks again Kerry. I played around with that one quite a bit, and could not figure out what was going on.

Nat,

I told you something wrong. The front inset for the left and right sides would be 19mm but the front inset for the top and deck would be 13.5mm
