Stock Molding modofications

Post by Donald Thomson »

Is there a way to take the stock molding in eCabinets and modify them? Specifically I would like to use one of the Conestoga base moldings Product ID Colonial-Base-10 Cherry and make it 3.5" tall instead of the default 4.5" tall. Can this be done? If so, how would it be done?

Thank you!
Sincerely,

Donald,

You can't modify the stock moldings but to accomplish what you are wanting to do I always place the molding Where the distance from the bottom is a negative 1" and that will drop the molding that 1".
When you place your cabinet in a room that lower part of the molding will be below the floor line and not be visible, therefore your 4 1/2" molding will look to be 3 1/2".

Thank you Kerry. I guess with software there are always work-arounds to accomplish the final outcome.

I'll do that and I think the customer will be happy with the results.

Thank you again!
