Cone shaped outer skin.

Hi ecab users.
Could someone, if not kerry, please explain how to do the cone shaped outer skin
on the desk kerry did earlyer. Ihave done curved panels using display cubes before
but cant get me head round how to do the tapered cone/skin. also how did you angle
all the vetricle divisions relative to the curve of the desk.
Would be greatful of any help.

John,

I created a tool like the one below

to make the cone shaped skin for the desk.

You must define a tool path on your cube in the Display Part Editor/Contour and either make sure your tool is big enough to remove all excess material or cut the excess away before applying the tool.

This is a cone created with the tool I show above

Thanks again Kerry. So simple, why didnt i think of that.
May be ime not thinking quite far enough out of the square yet.
