I will sometimes make, say a coffee table from a couple of display cubes just for
showing a customer a 3d visual without having to do the complex joinery involved.
The problem i have is that the wood grain looks out of scale to the cube. Is there
away yo correct this. Thanks, John.

Re: Wood Grain scale.
John,
When you create your display cube you can choose to stretch the image or tile the image. You will want to tile the image and you can select auto tile or you can manually set how many rows and columns in the tiling. You just have to play with the cube to get the tiling you want in the render.
You can also drag a box around one of your existing furniture pieces to select it then click on File/Export and export the file where you can then open it in the Display Part Editor and change or manipulate the texture and save the piece as a display object.
