laptop specs

Postby Brent Pister » Tue, Aug 04 2009, 8:56AM

I am in the process of purchasing a laptop to run Ecabs. I am looking at a Dell Mobile Precision M4400. This unit comes with a Nvidia Quatro FX 770M graphics card. Will I be disappointed or should I upgrade.

I looked at Dell and what I didn't like was the lack of a number keypad. You might also want to look into a bigger display. We run HP 8710w.

Quadro FX series chips all work quite well with eCabinet Systems' Hoops engine. Just make sure to update to the very latest driver from the laptop vendor because, surprisingly, new laptops often don't have the latest.
