is it possible in ecabinets vertical bin
iam trying to design a vertical top opened bins with a adjustable shelf in it and ending up with problems can any one look at these file and give me a quick solution
the problems are
cannot put adjustable shelf in the place where i need(i want the adjustable shelf parallel to the back) shelf holes can be either on left-right ends or top-deck we have already wasted 2 days in just designing any help from ecabinets team or beta testers
iam in doubt where to start as there is no standard cabinet in the directory to my requirement and if i use the strecher instead of front and deck i am not getting the angle cut. pls look in to it and give a hint

Re: is it possible in ecabinets vertical bin
Hi,
Most things are possible.
Is this what you are after?
I didn't put the shelf holes in, but they can be added in the part editor.
hope this helps.

Bryan,
I think you used the original file for your attachment, they both seem to be the same.

Re: is it possible in ecabinets vertical bin
Mohan,
I am trying to picture what you want.... Seems that all you have to do is design the cabinet looking at the front (HOME view) as if you were looking down at it from the top. In this "view" the TOP would become your BACK, the DECK your FRONT,.. etc. You could add USER NAMES to the parts to clarify there function in this special cabinet.
As far as the orientation for placement into a Custom Layout -
Rotate the cabinet in the Cabinet Editor and then save it as an assembly. This will preserve the rotated orientation.
Hope this helps.

See if the holes work for you
I made 3/16" and 1/4" holes in DXF

Re: is it possible in ecabinets vertical bin
While there is not an array or translate function in eCabinets, the Move option provides a similar capabilities since it will copy an entity or entities along with the "move". A method that may make using this feature faster to use is to create a line from the center of the hole that is the length of the spacing between holes. Select the line and the hole to move with the copy feature selected and use the line as the translation points. It's actually pretty quick. Then mirror the holes about a "line" to create the second column of holes. The hole pattern can be copied using the "Create Edges" option in the Contour Mode for the holes needed on the opposite side.

hope u people add this feature and that would help new users and software becomes user friendly
