Can you give a customer to much

Postby George Davidson » Tue, Feb 07 2006, 9:15AM

Can you give a customer to much to look at?
This is for one of our builders we do a lot of work for.
He said stop giving the new house home owner pictures.
He said just make it they will love it.
How could you buy a house for $600,000
and not pick out everything. He said it's not like the old days??
This is the DAD saying this not the builders son. Dave the son said the customer should pick out everything. (That is a change)

Got to go this has to be made by Wed. at 1:30
The builder just OK it at 6:30am today

George, I think it is our ability to show the client \"exactly\" what they will recieve that sells a job. Gone are the days of black & white line drawings, that clients just can't visulize (sp).

Me, I'm sort of an old-fashioned guy--I want to see it before I buy it. Dave Norton is right-on about the presentation being the difference between \"us\" and \"the other guys\". They can show boxes in a catalog but we can show the client's own home with the custom cabinetry installed.
