Dovetail drawers

Post by DanFecteau »

Here's our dovetail drawers for a kitchen going to Cape code. Made of baltic birch, 1/4\" bottom and with our special touch, a solid 1\" walnut edge with a vgroove to split the walnut and the baltic birch. They are made to receive tandem blumotion slides. What do you think about it ?

Those are very classy, Dan. Did your dovetail joints come out nice and tight? If so, what kind of tweeks did you have to do?

Dovetail

I did'nt touch anything, there's a little \"loose\" but only maybe 1/64\", next time I'll try to adjust it better, but we will have to play with it everytime you start a new batch cause it depends of many things I think, surfacing of the table, use of the tools,etc...

Hey Dan, you should post pics of the job when your done, if it's anything like your pullouts it should be something to see.

You can't see the glaze cause it's light and the quality of the pics is very bad......I'll post some more pics later...
