All of the designs in this house can be found in a book called \"Greene and Greene Masterworks\". If you'd like some inspiration, get this book. It should be in every woodworkers library. You can see a sample at gamblehouse.org. Click on interior photos. The simple artistry of their designs is wonderful. Here is a close up of a wet bar door. I used dark african mahogany for the rails and stiles and a light \"genuine\" mahogany for the panel ond onlays. You'll see this design all around the Gamble house.

Micheal,

THANK YOU! I had a look at the Gamble House's pictures and after looking at only the first few I ordered the book you suggested! Now that is the kind of furniture/woodwork that I like best! It is simple, clearly defined and functional. No fancy smanchy for me! (By no means do I look down on those designs! I like them for the craftmanship that went into it)
The house (wood) says to me : Welcome, here you can relax and be warm and feel safe!

I wonder how well it will cook pizza, or how easy it will be to clean up after pizza
