Rustic Alder Entertainment Center

Postby Gene Kimmi » Sat, Sep 01 2007, 10:21AM

Here are some pictures of an entertainment center we made out of rustic alder. I'll add more pictures after the granite is installed on the outer cabinets and the trim is installed.

Gene,

Looks fantastic - looks like it's been there for a long time. I love the look of the rustic elder. Good job on the rendering too.

Thanks Dale.

I, as well as the customer, was really pleased with how this turned out. I have always been hesitant to suggest alder because of how soft it is, but the more we do, the more I like it.

I can't wait for the granite to be installed and the contractor to finish so I can get some final pictures.

Gene,

That design fits the room very nicely. I don't ever recommend Alder either unless it is rustic and/or distressed. Here's an image that I use for my renderings. Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see the finished pictures.
