Test for antique finish

Post by Francis Samson »

Hi guys, i'm playing with the soft for antiquing doors and drawers (had a little help from Joe) to give some kind of a real finish for the customer to see in 3D render! Since we can give any texture to the doors and drawers and save them into our Canestoga section (that becomes really helpful when replacing them in the custom layout for different finish with the customer), i wanted to share some new wood finish i made. :)

For sure, this is a test i'm playing with but the process of making new wood texture is becoming more and more enjoyable!
One easy way i found to mod the finishes is with Corel Photo paint, that way you have an infinite possible way of tweaking the colors and sharpening the finish for a better render of it!
As per how to save it in the Canestoga door section, it's a secret!!!!! :joker:
Just fallow this link and you will understand:http://ntc.thermwood.com/forums/viewtop ... f=3&t=7023

Try it! It's very useful!
