What our Members are Doing!!!

Postby Jason Susnjara » Wed, Oct 08 2008, 2:09PM

Hi Members,

I am again looking for images of jobs that you created in eCabinets and actually built for our next digital member magazine. What I need are the following:

1. images from eCabinets. Presentation views work the best.
2. images of the finished product/job
3. story about the job

If you are interested, please email the files ASAP to jason.susnjara@thermwood.com. You can look through the past issues to get an idea of what we are looking for. If you have any questions please feel free to email me or give me a call at 800-533-6901

thanks,
Jason Susnjara

We have an interesting project at this time. We are making 4- 36 x 95 carved mahogany Church Doors But we didn't use e cab for whole projects. We used it for molded edges of the ornate raised panels . For the most part though we have been producing some very intricate arched and curved moldings for various projest using e cabinet Intrested ?

Here is a cedar chest I made as a wedding gift for my nephew and his new wife. My brother called me and commissioned me to make the cedar chest and gave me free reign to design and build what I liked. He did not want to even see any renderings. He wanted to be surprised.

I used solid cherry for the entire box and the posts. I made all the parts in my shop except for the posts, those I outsourced. The raised panel ends were made using a shaper, the curved front was done on my cs45 using the profile modeler, the top and bottom were cut out on the cs45 and the edges routed with a hand held router. The bottom was lined with aromatic cedar. The outside dimensions are 45 3/4" wide X 22" deep X 20" high, approximately.

The eCabinet software is very powerful and the finished product looks so much like the rendering it is amazing! My brother and his son were very pleased! Thank you, Thermwood.
