French bread loaf

Post by Greg Whitman »

I'm making a loaf of french bread display piece that mounts over a cash register in a new restraunt. It needs to be about 36" long. Does anyone have something like that that can be resized? It will be next to a 24" drink cup and a 36" square 3 tiered cake. I tried to make it myself but I'm not very good with the part editor. Please help. Thanks, Greg

Greg,

I didn't have a French loaf but here is some bread in a basket if you can substitute.

Thanks Kerry but the customer is going to put the loaf over his cash register on top of a soffit with the 36" cake and a 24" tall coffee cup for display. I'm going to make the loaf out of paper mache and chicken wire. The cake and coffee cup will be made of plywood and 1/8" bending plywood. You never know what people are going to ask you to build. Thanks again, Greg

If you just need it for presentation purposes, take a photo of a loaf of real French bread and use it on a Display Cube (after triming the edges of course).

Greg,

Here is one I found on the internet. You can look at it and see if you can make it work. I couldn't make it look like much. There are some good looking models available at TurboSquid.com but they want $30+ for them.
It Renders poorly
