Z - axis

Dears plz help me,
when i cut off pneumatic supply suddenly to machine, the Z - axis move rapidly to its dead end & the bolts connected between pneumatic cylinder to machine are broke off.so, i cant able to move the machine again to its home position and not able to join the cylinder with the machine becoz the holes are miss matching.
plz help me to come out from this issue.
