XYZ C B offset

Postby Gorka Maidagan » Sun, Jun 03 2012, 9:23PM

Hi All,

I'm Using ProE Software to create cutting paths in our Thermwood 91 000 5 axis C67S-343 Version N 5.05, everything is good when creating 3 axis cutting paths, but when 5 axis cutting path are required , the program doesn't follow the required path , from the software company they are gettin back to me saying if there is any way the machine can be offseted from the controller, but I'm not sure about that.

Can anyone suggest something

Gorka,

Can you take a sample 5 axis program, ZIP it up and upload it here? Some one may be able to then tell you what might be missing and explain how to go about "syncing" the program origin to a part or fixture reference on the machine.
