Advice on a breakfast bar

Postby Gary Puckett » Mon, May 03 2010, 2:19PM

I have never done this but, how would you go about building a breakfast bar extension onto a counter top?

Thanks

Hi Gary,
You might have to explain a few extra details like the counter top construction, if same level as main top and overhang you require.

Hi Gary,
Looks like a granite top to me.
If it was laminate we normally trench/pocket out a section same depth as some 16mm board material. Screw that down then put the top over that like a cap. Hope that makes sense.

Kitchen looks pretty good.
Regards
Neville
