This 1 page article appeared in our state email magazine. I put a copy in all my employees' paychecks as it was an excellent reminder to them from someone who is in our business.

Printed it out and stuck it to the wall near time clock.
Very good points. Not always is the work quality of an employee overides all other things. In Australia you can be fined up to $20K for unfair dismissal so you need to go through a number of staff discussions before you can let someone go.
Funny how some will not accept there is a problem till after the dismissal. Then the boss is a real swine. Great being a boss.....

This is a great article and a sad reminder of our times When I started in 1970 as an apprentice in a work shop in London UK, I had to have the tea ready for the Gods (anyone in the shop that wasn't an apprentice) before start of work. The softening up of our young men is crime to them our women folk and our kids. To all woodworkers wear your calluses with pride and have a happy and profitable new year.
