Vol2 Number 3

Postby Mark McCallum » Sat, Dec 31 2016, 8:48PM

Cleaning up, a blast from the past and yet it was only 9ish years ago.
Saying goodby to 2016 and Wishing all my fellow eCabineters and the guys at TW a happy, prosperous new year. May we all make lots of dust and even more importantly the money that comes from it. :)

I wonder what would be in Vol11 Number 3 February 2017 edition

Yeah bring these back. I enjoyed hearing what Ken had to say and sticky beaking into other cabinet shops setups.
A PDF version to keep the costs down would be ideal plus us Aussies would get it quicker.

Oh look, an advertisement for the rare CS-41! That's been a great little workhorse for us.

Hi Neville
Good to hear from you. :)
It probably costs quite a bit to put it together, Time for photography, chasing stories, editorial, formatting into a document, all overheads that probably doesn't sell a lot of machines and hard work to make the publication look good.
And during lean times an easy one to cut.
Now that America has been made great again, :) perhaps the local market will pick up allowing for extra sales and therefore some extra frills.
But with the USD going higher against ours I think it could slow down exports to us. :(
Personally I would prefer that they spent the money on Ecabs development.
It is a fantastic and comprehensive technical program, but the rugged interface makes it a bit of a beast.
The batch processing area works well though.
Can you imagine how wonderful it would be to quickly and efficiently design a custom kitchen with all the changes, sweet presentation, simple minor size modifications applied, good workshop drawings and all in a couple of hours.
I could almost get excited about that. :)
That would be a game changer and I would buy a machine tomorrow :joker:
It does seem like they are focusing on the cut center nuts and bolts section with the simple to use interface.
Enough dreaming, Back to work, lets hope we have a great 2017

Hi Jeremy.
Sounds like your $60K was a good investment.
I wonder how much the 2017 version is? :)
